The Muffin People ministry was started more than 20 years ago at St. Monica.   Currently there are approximately 30 people involved.

Six days a week (except Sunday) The Muffin People pick up and deliver the equivalent of a truck-load of food from local merchants that is then delivered to the homeless and food shelters in Oakland.  It is estimated that we supply the retail equivalent of $1M worth of food every year to the hungry in Oakland.
