St. Monica has established a BETHANY MINISTRY; a ministry of prayer and support.

The Bethany Ministry consists of a group of Funeral Volunteers who are willing to support grieving families celebrating a funeral at St. Monica for their deceased loved one.  Often there is a small number of family who are able to attend the funeral, and through their presence, members of the Bethany Ministry provide a prayerful presence and support to the family.    Grieving families are so appreciative of being surrounded by people who care.

Participation in the Bethany Ministry is on a volunteer basis; sign up to participate and be notified when an upcoming funeral is scheduled.  At that time, you can let the church know of your availability.

The Bethany Ministry is a wonderful opportunity  to build a supportive parish to help those in need at a most challenging time.
