- Support all families in achieving their goal of creating a solid foundation for young children centered on God, faith and family.
Led by Fr. Wayne, the group meetings five to six times per year, and has addressed topics including:
- Keeping Christ in Christmas: Sharing Family Traditions
- What Does It Mean to Be a Catholic Family?
- Embracing Lent: Preparing Your Family for Easter

Additional Outreach Work
In the spring of 2008, Young Families initiated an outreach project to feed the homeless, where we gathered to donate, assemble, bag and distribute over 200 lunches to some of the neediest residents in Oakland. Children were included in this outreach and it was a powerful experience for all involved.
If you are a parent or planning to become a parent, please join us for out next gathering. We encourage & welcome new families to attend!
