The St. Monica Men's Club is an organization dedicated to the spirit of fellowship and giving. It consists of men in the Lamorinda area-most of whom are members of St. Monica Parish-who meet regularly to participate in a balanced program of social, charitable, and athletic activities. In addition to fellowship activities, club members are encouraged to participate in giving activities such as holiday outreach projects, blood drives, and the Muffin People, a service to the hungry in Oakland. Members participate by organizing an activity, taking an active role in an activity, or contributing financially. Meetings feature an informal dinner prepared by volunteer members, big screen NFL football (in season), a brief business meeting, and often a guest speaker.
Membership is open to all men of the community. General meetings are held in the Peace Room at 6:00 PM the first Monday of every month except July and August. If you are interested in the Men's Club, come to any dinner meeting or contact Ray Gilmartin at raygil@comcast.net.
