The Sacrament of Confirmation: Grace for Fullness of Faith and Life
The Sacrament of Confirmation along with Baptism and the Eucharist are the sacraments of Christian initiation. In the Oakland Diocese, we offer the Sacrament of Confirmation at the age of 16. Classes begin in the 9th grade and it is a two year program. Confirmation candidates must also be involved in Parish and Community Service and Youth Group.
